Our First Home!

After months and months of looking at houses....of which I lost count of how many after 50 of them, we found one we both really really liked! The more amazing part was that we, for once were the first and only ones putting an offer in! That after 2 other offers we put in for 2 other houses, one being a total pain and kick in the ass, after being strung along for over a month by the Realtor and Bank of the Seller giving up story after story. Telling us we would be getting a counter offer in so many days. Finally the Realtor was so kind to call our Realtor to tell her they had closed on the house the previous night! They wanted to keep us on the line in case the first buyers fell thru, all the time feeding our Realtor many lines of bull!

On to the new house. We looked at it and I loved it! Pretty much the best one we had looked at! Anyways I didn't say to hubby how much I loved it initially, just said that yea I liked it. Then on the way home he says I love that house it's the one! He finally understands what I was wanting in a house as well! When the perfect one came along we would know it! So call me a dork but after seeing the house and really liking it I knew it was the one. The house number is 171 the same as my parents! Now to outsiders it wouldn't have much meaning, so lets go back about 10 years. I met my husband whose last name began with "S", my nickname was SAS, so my grandpa found it very humurous and said go figure she would marry someone so her new initals would match her nickname! So now forward to finding a house with the same house number as my parents, I just took it as a sign that, this house was meant to be! Many other houses we looked at hubby liked many of them and I just looked at him like he was crazy....even though I kept telling him I wanted a house that was big enough to have family and or friends over for dinners and holidays without having to sit on each others laps! Now we will have that! Plenty of room for lots of things!
