Today's Ramblings

I repeat..I love my children, I love my children, I love my children! Is it convincing to anyone else yet? Or anyone who may have been in earshot in the last 3 hours today? Day 4 of daddy being gone, (he's currently in San Diego on a 5 day training course for the Reserves!) and you sure can tell! Was trying to unload and reload the dishwasher, a chore that should really only take 5-10 minutes. Until this afternoon that was! It took more like a half an hour because I had to keep running to the living room every 30 seconds and if you saw my house you would know that the kitchen and living room are rather close to each other. I love it when they argue on and on about silly stuff and meaningless things. You know I always wanted a little sister. Then I had 2 younger brothers whom had to share a room as well as many other things. SO then I thought it wasn't so bad NOT having a sister! I didn't have anyone stealing my clothes or my girly toys! Of course now having a sister would be nice! Someone to share things with and such like that. I do have a few friends that are like sisters to me, so that helps. Anyways I remember having some arguments with my brothers but not the same as when the 2 of them would argue or fight with each other. I remember after a while if I was in my room and the boys started fighting I would get a scratching at the door from the dog wanting to come in my room for safety. After a while she just got smart enough to just follow me when I went up to my room. She would just lay by the door or on my bed. Then when I started driving she went everywhere with me. She would sit in the car for hours waiting for me. Of course only when weather permitted! I remember when I went to Mexico my Junior year, my mom said the poor dog was lost without me! Everywhere they went she insisted on coming in hopes that they would be going where I was! A few years later I was sad to see her go! Dad and Adam took her to have her put down. I couldn't bear to go but I told them to take her in my car so she could have her last ride!

Wow anyways I never intended for this entry to go this way it has! Guess it fits the title!

Some days I wonder that myself but then look at others like Beth who have 3 and think I might have it easy! I guess it's just the way I am. Plod thru the days not dwelling on a happening from one day and hope for a better day tomorrow! Kinda like when Chris was gone, I just had to step up and do what had to be done and not dwell on the bad things!
